Romans 10:14-17
Read Romans 10:14-17
Helpful Background Information:
Paul wrote Romans to clarify the Gospel and explain God’s righteousness revealed through Jesus. In chapter 10, Paul shows how the message of salvation moves outward from God to people: through hearing, believing, and calling on the Lord. This flow is intentional. No one can believe in Jesus unless they hear the message, and no one can hear unless someone shares it. Paul wants his readers to understand that evangelism is not optional; it is the God-ordained way people come to faith. The Gospel has power in itself, but it does not spread by accident.
Reflection Questions:
Paul says people can only believe if they hear the message. Who in your life told the message of Jesus Christ to you?
Who in your life has not yet heard a clear explanation of the gospel?
When you think about sharing your faith, tends to hold you back?
Paul emphasizes that someone must be sent. Where/to whom has God already sent you ( your workplace, neighborhood, school, or friendships etc)?
